LeTua Cycling Club and MKH Cycling Club are proud to announce the LeTua XXX Challenge to be held in Bertam, Seberang Prai Utara, Pulau Pinang on 13 November 2011. It is a fun ride which has everything for everyone.
In the true spirit of the Paris Roubaix, which has road and cobblestones sections, the LeTua XXX shall have its own road and offroad sections comprising of dirt roads along the padi fields, oilpalm and rubber estates.
Early last month, a group of hardcore roadies decided to attend an offroad event using road bikes. 40 plus strong, this group managed to outshine the 1000 other mtb riders and finish the event admirably. In all, it was an adrenaline charged ride which zipped thru the padifields which left some of the riders, bloodied and muddy, yet when completed, asking for more!
The original course which comprised of road and offroad sections, some technical, now form the core of the LeTua XXX, the first event of its kind in Malaysia.
There shall be categories for roadies, mtb's and fixies. Each category shall be flagged off separately and timed.
Distance : 70+km
Categories : Road, MTB, Fixie/Singlespeed or Others
